The fast-growing real estate brokerage network joins forces with one of Nantucket’s top market share leaders
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices announced yesterday that Island Properties Real Estate has joined its network to become Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Island Properties, according to a news release.
As the country’s fastest-growing real estate brokerage network, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices has grown to more than 42,350 agents with 1,270 offices since being founded in September 2013.
“We could not be more excited to join the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network and for all of the opportunity that comes with it,” said Michael O’Mara, broker/owner. “We first began conversations about making the transition to the brand about a year ago. Since then, I’ve connected with people in different Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices franchises around the country and they all speak incredibly highly about the brand and the ways in which being part of the network has strengthened their business.”
Island Properties’ partnership with Berkshire will give the former’s agents access to Berkshire’s Global Network Platform, a tool suite used for “lead generation, marketing support, social media, video production/distribution and more.”
“The Island Properties team truly emulates our brand values of trust, integrity, stability and longevity, and we are thrilled to have them represent Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices in Nantucket,” said Gino Blefari, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices CEO . “As a market leader, we are confident they will be great stewards of our brand in the marketplace.”
