The new POS assesses borrowers’ documents in real-time through Black Knight’s AIVA
Black Knight has launched Digital Point of Sale, a product that harnesses artificial intelligence to streamline the origination process while ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Digital Point of Sale uses Black Knight’s AI virtual assistant, AIVA, to directly connect to consumers in real-time. AIVA assesses whether a potential borrower’s identification and bank statements were received or not.
Integrated with the Black Knight Empower loan origination system, the new product also allows servicers to provide ongoing and detailed information about their customers’ loan, home, and neighborhood.
"Leveraging AIVA's skills, Digital Point of Sale guides the consumer through the steps of prequalification and then preapproval through a simple, intuitive Q&A format, validating data and documents along the way," said Black Knight Chief Executive Officer Anthony Jabbour. "Collected data is then immediately available in Empower, streamlining the entire origination process – and providing a single source of truth. The result is an infinitely, more efficient process, a significantly enhanced customer experience and increased data integrity and consistency for Empower users."
