The mortgage vet will lead the company’s broker and correspondent divisions
Flagstar Bank has tapped John Gibson as national sales director for its third-party originations division.
Gibson, who brings over 25 years of mortgage experience to the role, will be responsible for the strategic direction, growth, and profitability of Flagstar’s broker and correspondent channels.
Before joining Flagstar Bank, he spent eight years with Caliber Home Loans and was most recently executive vice president of wholesale lending production. Prior to that, Gibson served at leadership roles at Wachovia, a Wells Fargo company, leading mortgage sales and strategy.
