The real estate giant will start buying homes directly from sellers
Real estate company Keller Williams is following Zillow’s lead and launching a direct-homebuying service later this year.
Keller Williams will launch Keller Offers in May, according to a MarketWatch report. Keller Offers will initially launch in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, expanding to six to eight major markets by the end of the year.
The program is similar to Zillow’s “iBuying” program, Zillow offers, which allows sellers to sell their houses directly to Zillow. Keller Williams is pouring a lot of resources into the program, with plans to spend $100 million on instant offers this year, MarketWatch reported.
“We see iBuying as an important additional offering for our agents to offer to home sellers,” Keller Williams founder Gary Keller told MarketWatch.
