UMortgage snaps up Community Mortgage Brokers

UMortgage has partnered with Springfield, Mo-based brokerage Community Mortgage Brokers (CMB) as part of its expansion strategy.

The collaboration will see CMB rebranding to UMortgage Springfield and operating as the latest branch of UMortgage, with offices already established in Missouri and Colorado.

UMortgage Springfield, under the leadership of branch manager Andrew Chavez, will have a team of 11 loan originators, proficient in seven languages and well-versed in various loan products and programs. The company said versatility enables them to cater to a diverse range of homebuyers and real estate agents.

“UMortgage Springfield looks forward to utilizing the resources available with the UMortgage platform to expand its offerings and provide its homebuyers with a faster, more accessible, and more affordable mortgage experience,” the company said in a media release.

“We’re thrilled about the opportunities that we’ll be able to offer our clients with this partnership with UMortgage,” Chavez said. “The UMortgage platform will empower us to offer more competitive rates, a wider range of loan products, and faster turn times to help give our clients more buying power and get into their homes quicker.”

The new branch is licensed in 18 states, including Alabama, Alaska, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine (ranked the safest state), Missouri, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
